I am out of practice making any pages, so what do I decide to do as my first offering of a scrapbook process on YouTube? Choose a cricut layout with dozens of pieces AND one that doesn’t have a companion page. I mean just because we are living in a house that is a construction zone in EVERY room and currently practicing Safer at Home, why make it simple?
So jumped in with both feet and over several days finished my first scrapbook layout in over a year! I don’t have any photos for it yet, but I am sure I will find just the right ones.
I love that I used the scraps from the cricut cuts and went through several iterations until we landed at this combination. You can check out the whole process, sped up to save time here.
So vibrant and fun! CTMH continues to create great paper packs. They can be used for Summer fun photo and cards, but I could see me using the red gingham and leaves paper in a fall apple orchard trip, or the waves lend themselves to bath time photos with baby!
After you decide if you will be able to use all the great stickers, then you can add stamps, thin cut sets & other embellishments as you need.
As great as the acrylic shapes are, I think my favorite are the picture my life cards. They can be made into a card front just on their own, or tucked in behind a photo on a layout. For me they are wonderful.
If you are low on some colors of cardstock, no worries, just select the Summer Vibes cardstock pack and you’ll have variety that coordinates with the Summer Vibes papers.
If you are behind on your scrapbooking and you want some WOW layouts quickly, check out everything you can do with the Scrapbook workshop.
Need to send some happy mail? This kit is sure to bring a smile to anyone who receives one of these cards.
I could see some of these popcicles or ice cream cones on a layout or two!
Be sure to check out my youtube channel (search for Crafty Amanda) as I walk through putting together kits & giving idea of how to make any CTMH kit work for you!
In this new Idea book you’ll see lot of new papers, stamps, thin cuts & more, but you won’t see the new Hostess only Stamp sets. . . So, here they are!
Love that it has the “stripes” for the lighthouse separate so you can choose your lighthouse colors!
And if the exclusive stamp sets are enough of an incentive, check out the amount of FREE product you can receive when you host a qualified gathering.
Contact me so I can help you earn one of these or other CTMH products!

I’ve never been a rah, rah kind of gal, and run pretty level through life. I tend to roll with the punches good and bad. All that being said, I truly am excited for what I am seeing in this new catalog from Close to My Heart! Just the cover is filled with some cool out of the box projects to create and the colors are fresh!
If you haven’t seen one yet, you can view it on line, and if you order CTMH will send you one with your order for FREE!
Just to entice you to look, here’s the new paper packs. (There are new workshops with each of them and new thin cuts and great stamps of the month too!)Chelsea Gardens
I’ve been a butterfly lover for many years, so Chelsea Garden speaks to that and my LOVE of blue! Win/win
I’m thinking it might be fun to make some scrapbook pages highlighting some of our family favorite recipes. Good for memories of everyday life and might make cooking suppers easier if I make the recipes in the next few weeks.
