More Calypso Cards & Another Insider Guide

Yes,  I am loving these insider guides.   This time it’s a throw back to one of my favorite paper packs, Seaside.   So,  without further ado. . .  Here is the Seaside Insider Guide seaside-cards. seaside_IG_quickpic

Once again I am using the Spring Time Wishes thin cuts and watercolor paints.   I was on a roll!   I said this in a recent post,  but the more I use the paints,  the more comfortable I am becoming with them.    I highly recommend just getting them out and playing with how to put color on the paper.

Card Two:

As you can see,  I modified the cards to work with my paper.  I also didn’t want to take the time to find a shaped sentiment from the cricut.  I would have been easy enough,  but I was on borrowed time and my pillow was calling!

White Pines Insider Guide

Close to My Heart has created some great tools for consultants to use at gatherings or workshops.   One of those tools is Insider Guides.  These are templates for either a scrapbook layout or cards.  I have another one to share with you today.  It’s from the fall of 2015 and was originally used with White Pines paper.  Here is the White Pines Guide 1509-ci-workshop-white-pines-us_ca

I’ve been remiss in using some of the newest papers,  so I thought I would change that and broke out the fun Calypso Paper (gone the end of July 2016!)

Card Number one is a little deceiving.  The yellow and white striped paper is a full 4.25 x 5.5.   (Just like card 1 in the insider guide) I used the springtime wish thin cuts for all the great flowers.  I finally got out the watercolor paints and played with those too.  I feel like I am getting better every time I use them!

Card Number two uses the artfully sent cartridge (auto) and the spring wishes thincuts (the little flowers).  The stamp is from the June Stamp of the Month.

AMAZING Deal – only $75!

I’m not just saying that.  The special promotion for July is a consultant sign up special.   Those of you who have been following my blog know that I will gladly share the opportunity to become a consultant,  but I don’t push or pressure.  That being said,  the numbers don’t lie.

$75 kit cost + shipping (guessing $10) + Tax (in MI $5.00 ish) = Investment of $90   Gets you $125 in product and supplies in the kit (shown below) + $50 in Select Product Credit + another $31.90 in product during the month of July!  So that’s $206.90 in goodies for approximately $90!

If that’s not enough incentive,  you would be one of the first people to get your hands on the new Annual Inspirations Book!  Could purchase  any of the exclusive CTMH  cricut cartridges at a discount!  And, get the latest CTMH papers FREE!   This is the month to sign up to be a consultant.  (I feel like this is a commercial where they keep saying “But, wait!  There’s more!)

Creative Insider Guide – Next set

Well,   This next set of cards comes from the insider guide UrbanUrban_IG_Image

I am loving this guide for some quick cards that have some punch!

These samples use the bulk paper from Jubilee  and a stamp set my Mom got me several years ago.   (It has been unearthed in my household diet project.  One of the few rubber stamps that survived the purge!)

You might notice that I trimmed down (or lost,  whichever works for you) some of the pieces from this set.  It gives the cards a completely different look and shows some versatility of these guides.  Make the paper work for you and your stamps!
